My WebQuest
Hello everyone!
My next post is related to a WebQuest project I have designed about La Sagrada Familia.
In my opinion this WebQuest would be ideal for 6-8 grade students. This project includes a video, a listening comprehension questionnaire, a text and a reading comprehension questionnaire, a drawing activity and a writing exercise, that is students will design and draw their own postcards inspired by this wonderful monument.

Welcome to my blog. Let's get started with a movie!
Welcome to my blog!
I have created a blog to post and share ideas and activities in order to teach English to a wide range of levels.
Right... Let's get started!
Who loves movies?? I love movies! Everybody loves movies!
I always thought watching a movie is the best way to get motivated and learn vocabulary. What do you think? Apart from learning new vocabulary and expressions, films are useful to practise pronunciation and intonation.
A tip: Always pick a film that is entertaining for your students and don't forget to turn the subtitles on!
Here is the trailer of a film that is suitable for all levels and audiences: Despicable me.
Enjoy!
Plot:
In a happy suburban neighborhood surrounded by white picket fences with flowering rose bushes, sits a black house with a dead lawn. Unbeknownst to the neighbors, hidden beneath this home is a vast secret hideout. Surrounded by a small army of minions, we discover Gru, planning the biggest heist in the history of the world. He is going to steal the moon. (Yes, the moon!) Gru delights in all things wicked. Armed with his arsenal of shrink rays, freeze rays, and battle-ready vehicles for land and air, he vanquishes all who stand in his way. Until the day he encounters the immense will of three little orphaned girls who look at him and see something that no one else has ever seen: a potential Dad. The world's greatest villain has just met his greatest challenge: three little girls named Margo, Edith and Agnes.
